86-17719947765Since GE developed cubic boron nitride (CBN) single crystal powder in 1957 and successfully developed PCBN cutting tools in the 1970s, PCBN cutting tools have gradually become mature after more than 60 years of development. PCBN cutting tools are mostly welded by PCBN composite piece and tool bar or indexable blade. In recent years, the types of integral PCBN blades are becoming more and more. PCBN blade is about 1mm of PCBN layer directly sintered on the carbide matrix formed composite integral. This material not only has high hardness, high thermal stability and high chemical stability of PCBN, but also has the advantages of good strength and weldability of hard alloy, according to different content of the formula, so that PCBN tool can not only cut a variety of high hardness of the workpiece (powder metallurgy, tungsten carbide, ductile iron, gray cast iron,), but also easy to welding production. The quality of PCBN blade directly affects the cutting performance.
